Fluorosilicone, also known as fluorosilicone rubber (FVMQ) It's widely used in applications requiring resistance to fuels, oils, solvents, and extreme temperatures.

Fluorosilicone (FS) silicone is desianed for applications involvina extreme conditions where temperature, fuel/solvent. and ozone resistance are necessary.

Fluorosilicone gasket material is available in a wide range of durometers, ranging from as soft as 40 Durometer to as hard as 70 Durometer with standard durometers in between. It can be manufactured to standard and custom thicknesses.

Key Properties:

1. Chemical Resistance: Excellent resistance to fuels, oils, solvents, and acids.

2. Temperature Range: Can operate in a wide temperature range, typically from -60°C to 200°C (-76°F to 392°F).

3. Flexibility: Maintains flexibility and elasticity over a broad temperature range.

4. Weather Resistance: Good resistance to weathering, ozone, and UV radiation.

5. Electrical Insulation: Provides good electrical insulation properties.

Applications:

1. Aerospace: Seals, gaskets, and O-rings in fuel systems.

2. Automotive: Fuel system components, seals, and gaskets.

3. Industrial: Seals and gaskets in chemical processing equipment.

4. Oil and Gas: Seals and gaskets in drilling and refining operations.

5. Medical: Used in some medical devices due to its biocompatibility and chemical resistance.

Advantages:

- Durability: Long-lasting performance in harsh environments.

- Versatility: Suitable for a wide range of applications.

- Reliability: Consistent performance under extreme conditions.

Fluorosilicone is chosen for applications where standard silicone rubber would not provide sufficient chemical resistance, making it a valuable material in demanding environments.
