Fiberglass Reinforced Flame Retardant Closed Cell Silicone Sponge

Fiberglass reinforced flame retardant closed cell silicone sponge material designed for use in gaskets applications that require a soft compressible material. This material is UV and ozone resistant and takes a low compression set. In addition to having a high tensile strength, fiberglass reinforced flame retardant closed cell silicone sponge offers resistance to low and high temperatures and provides users with a service temperature of -103°F to +450°F. A flame retardant and highly compressible material, the fiberglass gives this silicone sponge material dimensional stability, which is useful when cutting close tolerance parts.

Our closed cell silicone sponge gasket material is available in a wide range of densities from soft to extra-firm with varying densities and formulations available in between. Fiberglass reinforced flame retardant silicone closed cell sponge can be converted into rolls ranging from 10mm to 1000mm in width. Available in different colors, the surface has a fine fabric finish on both sides and can be manufactured in rolls or sheets with a thickness range from as thin as 2mm to 20mm.  Moonus has the ability to supply soft/medium/hard density fiberglass reinforced flame retardant closed cell silicone sponge with or without adhesive.
